What is Checkout Mode?

How to choose the correct mode for your business

Overview

Our system support 2 mode to handle the payment flow, Every merchant can only be in one of the following modes:

• pay now

• pay at counter

This help your business to keep track on who has already paid.

pay at counter mode is only available to the merchant using our POS system.

pay now

This mode is suitable for fast food shop where usually customer pay before getting their food.

For example, McDonald is suitable for this mode.

Docket will be printed after paying. You can't have additional item to the same order. Customer needs to create a new order and pay again if they want additional item. There are also different behaviours on POS and QR Code ordering:

For POS

• No table timer

For QR code

• Order history will be saved on device

pay at counter

This mode is suitable for fine dinning where usually customer pay after they finished their meal.

For example, a fine dine restaurant is suitable for this mode.

Docket will be printed once the order is placed. Additional item on the order will also be printed. There are also different behaviours on POS and QR Code ordering:

For POS

• Table timer

For QR Code

• Shared order history

• Email receipt

For Online Order and Takeaway Order, Dockets are always printed after the order has been paid.

How to select mode

User can switch between different mode in admin panel.

Please restart the POS app on the iPad after switching mode

Change mode will cancel all non paid checkout mode order. Please be careful when switching mode, you can't pay the order again.
